Five Impressive Finalists; $1 Per Vote Goes to Share Our Strength
The ConAgra Foods® Foundation, in partnership with Sandra Lee, home and food expert, and Share Our Strength® have announced five finalists in the Champions Against Child Hunger contest. The finalists were chosen from an outstanding pool of nominees and were selected for their inspiring work to help end child hunger. To select the single "Champion Against Child Hunger," consumers are encouraged to visit www.ChampionsAgainstChildHunger.org to vote once per day until March 18. For every vote cast, ConAgra Foods Foundation will donate $1 to Share Our Strength (up to $80,000). During the nomination period, ConAgra Foods committed $20,000 to Share Our Strength and will donate up to $80,000 more based on the number of votes received for the five finalists.

Seeking Applicants for ConAgra Foods Child Hunger Corps, Deadline is Feb. 26
Feeding America® is currently accepting applications for members of the new ConAgra Foods Child Hunger Corps; those who are passionate about ending child hunger and making a real difference in the lives of children in local communities are encouraged to apply. The ConAgra Foods Child Hunger Corps was established thanks to a grant from the ConAgra Foods Foundation.

Contest will Recognize Individuals and Raise Funds for Share Our Strength®
The ConAgra Foods Foundation and Sandra Lee, home and food expert, in partnership with Share Our Strength®, are launching the Champions Against Child Hunger contest to recognize those who are doing great work to help end child hunger in communities across the country while raising funds for Share Our Strength®. Sandra Lee, who is the National Ambassador of Share Our Strength’s Operation Frontline® program, announced the contest on Good Morning America on Nov. 16.

$10 Million Grant by ConAgra Foods Foundation Unveiled at Feeding America’s Hunger Action Month Concert
Ending September's Hunger Action Month on a high note, a celebrity supporter of Feeding America announced ConAgra Foods Foundation’s new $10 million commitment to Feeding America at its "Rock a Little, Feed a Lot" concert Tuesday night featuring Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper and other performers. ConAgra Foods Foundation’s contribution is the largest donation ever made to fight child hunger with Feeding America and will help the organization meet the needs of the more than 12 million children in America – one in six – who are at risk of hunger across the country.

Share Our Strength announces a new partnership with the ConAgra Foods Foundation that will nearly double the capacity of Share Our Strength's Operation Frontline®, a groundbreaking chef-led nutrition education program that teaches low-income families how to prepare nutritious and tasty foods on a limited budget. At a time when the use of food stamps is at an all-time high, food banks are struggling to meet demand, and food prices continue to soar, the ConAgra Foods Foundation's multi-year commitment will allow Operation Frontline to launch programs in nine new locations while increasing the capacity of existing programs and enhancing course materials.
